Our ticket office is on the same pier as the New Bedford
to Martha's Vineyard Express Ferry and right behind the
famous Schooner Ernestina:
State Pier, South Bulkhead
Foot of Union Street
New Bedford, MA 02740

From Boston and points north:

Take I-93 South—at the fork, stay to the right (93 South, Dedham-Providence)
Take Exit 4: Route 24 South (left lane exit)
Distance to next exit 24 miles
Take Exit 12: Route 140 South
Distance to next exit 19 miles
Take Exit 2E/A: I-195 East toward Cape Cod
Distance to next exit 1.3 miles
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown
Turn left at the second light (left lane turn)
Drive straight onto the State Pier
You will see our ticket office on the right up the ramp next to the Ernestina.

Take I-95 North
Take Exit 20: I-195 East toward Providence/Cape Cod
Take Exit 15: Route 18 South/Downtown
Turn left at 2nd light (left lane turn)
Drive straight onto the State Pier
You will see our ticket office on the right up

Take Route 6 West
Take Route 25
Take I-195 West

Parking:

Limited parking is available in the lot on the right.
Be sure to come in and get a pass. For additional
parking, please stop in at ticket office and we will
be happy to direct you. Ask us about long-term
parking availability.
